Purple red in glass. Volatile on the nose. Candied plums and hints of spice. Alcohol flavour present. Thin in texture but full in flavour. Blackberry. Fades to sweetness in the aftertaste. Brick or stone.
Palate is soft and medium bodied, with flavours of red cherry and forest berries with fine grain tannins.
Medium deep ruby red colour; aromas of cedar, black plum, mint, floral note and spice; extra dry, medium bodied, with ripe tannins, sweet plum fruit center, decent length on the palate.
Aromas of ripe stonefruit, peach blossom and white nectarine with a hint of green apple are supported a fine nutty character and subtle background oak.
